We are hiring a Marketing Coordinator working towards Germany and Europe
Kid/Hemtex are one of the Nordics’ leading home and textile chains, with over 280 physical stores and online shops in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia. We are now expanding into Germany and other European markets. Following our acquisition of Hemtex in 2019, our ambitions have grown significantly, and we are now seeking a Marketing Coordinator DE/EU, to support our growth in Germany and across EU markets (ex Nordics).

We are looking for someone with a keen interest in digital marketing who can be instrumental in our efforts to succeed in Germany and Europe (ex Nordics). You will work closely with our marketing teams across the Nordic countries, helping implement marketing strategies in these new markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute marketing activities in Germany and EU markets, aligned with the company’s marketing strategy and media agency
- Adapt and translate marketing materials (SoMe, paid search, newsletters, articles) for local markets in German and English
- Manage the German Instagram account
- Create, translate, and publish content across the German and English websites and other channels
- Focus on translating and completing our website in collaboration with the eCommerce Manager, in preparation for market entry
- Support the marketing team with various tasks, both large and small
- Tasks may evolve and will be adjusted over time to meet the changing needs of the role and German/ European expansion
We are looking for someone who:
- Is passionate about digital marketing and retail
- Works in a structured and detail-oriented manner, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Is proactive, curious, and takes initiative, while also being a great team player
Qualifications:
- Fluent in German with excellent English skills; knowledge of Norwegian/Swedish is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, economics, or a related field
- 1-3 years of marketing experience preferred, ideally in an international setting, but recent graduates are also encouraged to apply
- Interest in content creation and home decor
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics
- Experience with Adobe programs is an advantage
Preferred Start Date: March 2025
This position reports to the Marketing Manager DE/EU and is based at our headquarters in Lier, with the possibility of hybrid work.
